Raised along the Missouri River in Central Montana, Hyatt carries a rare combination of deep local roots and wide-ranging experience. After college, he built startups, worked in Big Tech, angel investments and eventually rose to VP of one of the longest-running and most decorated outdoor television shows in the country — earning multiple Outdoor Sportsman Awards along the way, including Fan Favorite Series and Fan Favorite Host. He holds several granted patents spanning tech and the outdoor industries, and his research and design work has put sporting products on shelves in big box stores nationwide. He co-founded Bird Dog Of The Day, a beloved community for upland enthusiasts found on Instagram and the web.
Then he came home — and brought all of it with him.
Today, he is a full-time, licensed broker in Montana, Idaho, and South Dakota, with a track record that speaks for itself. He has set the highest price-per-acre in county history on multiple occasions for sellers, represented buyers on transactions up to $50 million, and was recognized with the “Best Broker Habits” award in 2024 by a national firm.
Hyatt drives 70,000+ miles a year across the Great Plains and Rockies — not just closing deals, but building real relationships with farmers and ranchers, learning the land firsthand, and staying genuinely connected to the people and places that make this work matter. He’s not chasing leads from a desk. He’s out there glassing ridgelines, drifting flies, running English pointers through the uplands, and knocking on doors in places most brokers have never heard of. That on-the-ground presence isn’t a marketing strategy — it’s just who he is.
He also has an instinct for connecting people. Whether it’s introducing the right buyer to the right seller, pointing a newcomer toward the best undiscovered fishing hole in the state, or simply showing up to help a rancher who needs an extra hand — Hyatt operates with the belief that genuine relationships are the foundation of everything worth building. Trust is one thing we can’t expedite – it takes time.
He’s based in Central Montana where he lives with his wife and daughter. Good land and good people don’t stop at county or state lines — and neither does he.
